About iConstruct Building
The Leading Custom House Building Company In Sydney & Central Coast
Why We Are The Leading Custom House Building Company
iConstruct Building Solutions was founded on the philosophies of top quality workmanship, expert craftsmanship and timely delivery of stunning projects. Our highly skilled team has been hand-selected to ensure all our homes are delivered on time, on budget and to your unique specifications.
The family business is owned and operated by builder, Jonathan Powell, a British ex-pat with nearly two decades’ experience as a carpenter. After completing his carpentry apprenticeship and working on building sites across London, Jonathan moved to Sydney in 2011 to pursue a life in Australia and a career as a builder.
Upon arrival, he showed his commitment and focus as he embarked on his Certificate IV and Diploma in Building and Construction. Two years of long days, nights and weekends both on-site and in the classroom finally paid off, giving Jonathan the opportunity to fulfil his dream of becoming a builder
Jonathan’s decision to start iConstruct Building in 2015 was born when he felt his commitment to high standards and attention to detail were not being matched. Since its launch, iConstruct Building has become the leading custom house building company in the region and is well known for its focused attention on renovations and additions.
However, Jonathan continued to explore better ways to build with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency and health. In late 2018 he stumbled across the Passive House standard and subsequently started to focus all his time and attention on this. Today, iConstruct Building stands as a trusted passive custom house building company in Sydney and the Central Coast.
With this focus and determination to build better homes for the future, iConstruct can now boast a Passive House Designer and two other Passive House tradesmen within its core team and this will continue to grow alongside the Passive House movement here in Australia. Alongside this, our expert team of sub-contractors, who have been with us since the beginning, give us guarantees that our high standards never waiver.
As a Master Builders Association, HIA and Australian Passive House Association member, we’re passionate about ensuring our team is up to date and informed of all the latest training, building products and industry trends to ensure we’re delivering the best results possible. This is reflected in our proven track record of delivering 100% client satisfaction, on time and within budget.
